Pacific Seacraft 44 sails: questions

How much is a new mainsail for a Pacific Seacraft 44?

From A$4,950 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$5,178.80 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$6,509.80. Every mainsail is cut to the Pacific Seacraft 44 rig (P 15.66 m, E 5.08 m) with two reefs.

What size genoa does a Pacific Seacraft 44 need?

We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 17.10 m, J 5.76 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$5,311.90.

What size spinnaker fits a Pacific Seacraft 44?

A Size 10 (118 m²) asymmetric suits the Pacific Seacraft 44 fore-triangle. It starts at A$3,338.50, or A$4,390.10 with a dousing sock.

What size storm jib and trysail fit a Pacific Seacraft 44?

The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (14.6 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (13.9 m²). That makes our Maxi (12 m²) storm jib and Large (10.8 m²) trysail the right sizes.

How do I check my boat matches these measurements?

Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
