We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 15.75 m, J 5.90 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$5,621.
A Size 10 (118 m²) asymmetric suits the Mariner 52 fore-triangle. It starts at A$3,338.50, or A$4,390.10 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (12.4 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (13.8 m²). That makes our Maxi (12 m²) storm jib and Large (10.8 m²) trysail the right sizes.
