We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 23.33 m, J 6.46 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$9,821.90.
A Size 14 (183 m²) asymmetric suits the Southerly 57 fore-triangle. It starts at A$5,236, or A$6,609.90 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (27.2 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (26.3 m²). That makes our Maxi (12 m²) storm jib and Maxi (15.5 m²) trysail the right sizes.
