We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 19.39 m, J 7.32 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$9,281.80.
A Size 13 (165 m²) asymmetric suits the Roberts 55 fore-triangle. It starts at A$4,704.70, or A$5,990.60 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (18.8 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (21.0 m²). That makes our Maxi (12 m²) storm jib and Maxi (15.5 m²) trysail the right sizes.
