We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 19.81 m, J 7.90 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$10,162.90.
A Size 14 (183 m²) asymmetric suits the MacGregor 65 fore-triangle. It starts at A$5,236, or A$6,609.90 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (19.6 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (19.9 m²). That makes our Maxi (12 m²) storm jib and Maxi (15.5 m²) trysail the right sizes.
