We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 11.43 m, J 3.20 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$1,613.70.
A Size 2 (43 m²) asymmetric suits the Ladd 27 fore-triangle. It starts at A$1,406.90, or A$2,036.10 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (6.5 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (6.3 m²). That makes our Medium (5.7 m²) storm jib and Small (6.1 m²) trysail the right sizes.
