Hinckley Southwester 59 sails: questions

How much is a new mainsail for a Hinckley Southwester 59?

From A$9,539.20 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$9,854.90 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$12,256.20. Every mainsail is cut to the Hinckley Southwester 59 rig (P 17.98 m, E 7.16 m) with two reefs.

What size genoa does a Hinckley Southwester 59 need?

We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 20.42 m, J 7.01 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$9,363.20.

What size spinnaker fits a Hinckley Southwester 59?

A Size 13 (165 m²) asymmetric suits the Hinckley Southwester 59 fore-triangle. It starts at A$4,704.70, or A$5,990.60 with a dousing sock.

What size storm jib and trysail fit a Hinckley Southwester 59?

The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (20.9 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (22.5 m²). That makes our Maxi (12 m²) storm jib and Maxi (15.5 m²) trysail the right sizes.

How do I check my boat matches these measurements?

Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
