We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 15.24 m, J 5.27 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$4,331.80.
A Size 8 (94 m²) asymmetric suits the Hallberg-Rassy 41 fore-triangle. It starts at A$2,656.50, or A$3,602.50 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (11.6 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (8.2 m²). That makes our Extra Large (9.5 m²) storm jib and Medium (7.8 m²) trysail the right sizes.
