Hallberg-Rassy 312 sails: questions

How much is a new mainsail for a Hallberg-Rassy 312?

From A$2,204.40 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$2,370.50 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$2,928.20. Every mainsail is cut to the Hallberg-Rassy 312 rig (P 11.00 m, E 3.55 m) with two reefs.

What size genoa does a Hallberg-Rassy 312 need?

We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 12.50 m, J 3.98 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$2,357.30.

What size spinnaker fits a Hallberg-Rassy 312?

A Size 5 (64 m²) asymmetric suits the Hallberg-Rassy 312 fore-triangle. It starts at A$2,069.10, or A$2,839.10 with a dousing sock.

What size storm jib and trysail fit a Hallberg-Rassy 312?

The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (7.8 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (6.8 m²). That makes our Large (7.5 m²) storm jib and Small (6.1 m²) trysail the right sizes.

How do I check my boat matches these measurements?

Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
