Ericson 35-2 (short mast) sails: questions

How much is a new mainsail for a Ericson 35-2 (short mast)?

From A$2,267.10 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$2,449.70 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$2,998.60. Every mainsail is cut to the Ericson 35-2 (short mast) rig (P 9.97 m, E 3.96 m) with two reefs.

What size genoa does a Ericson 35-2 (short mast) need?

We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 12.19 m, J 4.27 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$2,465.10.

What size spinnaker fits a Ericson 35-2 (short mast)?

A Size 5 (64 m²) asymmetric suits the Ericson 35-2 (short mast) fore-triangle. It starts at A$2,069.10, or A$2,839.10 with a dousing sock.

What size storm jib and trysail fit a Ericson 35-2 (short mast)?

The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (7.4 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (6.9 m²). That makes our Medium (5.7 m²) storm jib and Small (6.1 m²) trysail the right sizes.

How do I check my boat matches these measurements?

Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
