We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 11.28 m, J 3.76 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$1,872.20.
A Size 3 (50 m²) asymmetric suits the Cal 2-29 fore-triangle. It starts at A$1,628, or A$2,293.50 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (6.4 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (6.3 m²). That makes our Medium (5.7 m²) storm jib and Small (6.1 m²) trysail the right sizes.
