Adams 10 sails: questions

How much is a new mainsail for a Adams 10?

From A$2,560.80 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$2,736.80 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$3,416.60. Every mainsail is cut to the Adams 10 rig (P 12.16 m, E 3.80 m) with two reefs.

What size genoa does a Adams 10 need?

We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 10.30 m, J 3.67 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$1,790.80.

What size spinnaker fits a Adams 10?

A Size 3 (50 m²) asymmetric suits the Adams 10 fore-triangle. It starts at A$1,628, or A$2,293.50 with a dousing sock.

What size storm jib and trysail fit a Adams 10?

The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (5.3 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (8.1 m²). That makes our Small (4.5 m²) storm jib and Medium (7.8 m²) trysail the right sizes.

How do I check my boat matches these measurements?

Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
