From A$2,611.40 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$2,807.20 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$3,571.70. Every mainsail is cut to the Yamaha R30 Mk II rig (P 12.00 m, E 4.30 m) with two reefs.
We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 10.90 m, J 3.23 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$1,553.20.
A Size 2 (43 m²) asymmetric suits the Yamaha R30 Mk II fore-triangle. It starts at A$1,406.90, or A$2,036.10 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (5.9 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (9.0 m²). That makes our Medium (5.7 m²) storm jib and Medium (7.8 m²) trysail the right sizes.
Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
For a race programme, a Sydney to Hobart or a bluewater expedition, our sister loft Kraken Sails designs laminates, membrane sails and storm wardrobes for the hard end of sailing.
