From A$6,430.60 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$6,702.30 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$8,499.70. Every mainsail is cut to the Van de Stadt 44 rig (P 17.28 m, E 6.10 m) with two reefs.
We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 17.50 m, J 5.10 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$4,813.60.
A Size 9 (106 m²) asymmetric suits the Van de Stadt 44 fore-triangle. It starts at A$3,036, or A$4,016.10 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (15.3 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (18.4 m²). That makes our Maxi (12 m²) storm jib and Maxi (15.5 m²) trysail the right sizes.
