Shannon 37 Cutter sails: questions

How much is a new mainsail for a Shannon 37 Cutter?

From A$3,500.20 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$3,721.30 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$4,497.90. Every mainsail is cut to the Shannon 37 Cutter rig (P 12.19 m, E 4.88 m) with two reefs.

What size genoa does a Shannon 37 Cutter need?

We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 13.95 m, J 5.26 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$3,714.70.

What size spinnaker fits a Shannon 37 Cutter?

A Size 8 (94 m²) asymmetric suits the Shannon 37 Cutter fore-triangle. It starts at A$2,656.50, or A$3,602.50 with a dousing sock.

What size storm jib and trysail fit a Shannon 37 Cutter?

The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (9.7 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (10.4 m²). That makes our Extra Large (9.5 m²) storm jib and Medium (7.8 m²) trysail the right sizes.

How do I check my boat matches these measurements?

Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
