We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 12.56 m, J 3.66 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$2,176.90.
A Size 4 (57 m²) asymmetric suits the S2 9.1-2 fore-triangle. It starts at A$1,849.10, or A$2,549.80 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (7.9 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (7.9 m²). That makes our Large (7.5 m²) storm jib and Medium (7.8 m²) trysail the right sizes.
