From A$5,795.90 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$6,047.80 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$7,645. Every mainsail is cut to the Perry 42.7 rig (P 16.71 m, E 5.64 m) with two reefs.
We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 19.15 m, J 6.40 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$6,611.
A Size 12 (148 m²) asymmetric suits the Perry 42.7 fore-triangle. It starts at A$4,249.30, or A$5,449.40 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (18.3 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (16.5 m²). That makes our Maxi (12 m²) storm jib and Maxi (15.5 m²) trysail the right sizes.
