From A$994.40 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$1,120.90 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$1,109.90. Every mainsail is cut to the Nordic Halman 20 rig (P 6.74 m, E 2.59 m) with two reefs.
We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 7.93 m, J 2.07 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$683.10.
A Size 00 (27 m²) asymmetric suits the Nordic Halman 20 fore-triangle. It starts at A$896.50, or A$1,421.20 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (3.1 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (3.1 m²). That makes our Extra Small (3 m²) storm jib the right size. No stock trysail is small enough for this rig, so we quote one to fit.
Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
For a race programme, a Sydney to Hobart or a bluewater expedition, our sister loft Kraken Sails designs laminates, membrane sails and storm wardrobes for the hard end of sailing.
