From A$1,908.50 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$2,072.40 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$2,580.60. Every mainsail is cut to the Islander Bahama 30 rig (P 10.30 m, E 3.51 m) with two reefs.
We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 12.19 m, J 3.90 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$2,098.80.
A Size 4 (57 m²) asymmetric suits the Islander Bahama 30 fore-triangle. It starts at A$1,849.10, or A$2,549.80 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (7.4 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (6.3 m²). That makes our Medium (5.7 m²) storm jib and Small (6.1 m²) trysail the right sizes.
Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
For a race programme, a Sydney to Hobart or a bluewater expedition, our sister loft Kraken Sails designs laminates, membrane sails and storm wardrobes for the hard end of sailing.
