From A$3,946.80 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$4,156.90 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$5,181. Every mainsail is cut to the Hallberg-Rassy 41 Ketch rig (P 13.56 m, E 4.63 m) with two reefs.
We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 15.24 m, J 5.27 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$4,334.
A Size 8 (94 m²) asymmetric suits the Hallberg-Rassy 41 Ketch fore-triangle. It starts at A$2,656.50, or A$3,602.50 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (11.6 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (11.0 m²). That makes our Extra Large (9.5 m²) storm jib and Large (10.8 m²) trysail the right sizes.
Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
For a race programme, a Sydney to Hobart or a bluewater expedition, our sister loft Kraken Sails designs laminates, membrane sails and storm wardrobes for the hard end of sailing.
