From A$2,054.80 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$2,229.70 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$2,788.50. Every mainsail is cut to the Freedom 28 rig (P 10.47 m, E 3.76 m) with two reefs.
We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 7.86 m, J 2.72 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$943.80.
A Size 00 (27 m²) asymmetric suits the Freedom 28 fore-triangle. It starts at A$896.50, or A$1,421.20 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (3.1 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (6.9 m²). That makes our Extra Small (3 m²) storm jib and Small (6.1 m²) trysail the right sizes.
