From A$5,382.30 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$5,623.20 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$6,987.20. Every mainsail is cut to the Cheoy Lee 48 rig (P 14.14 m, E 5.38 m) with two reefs.
We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 16.03 m, J 6.48 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$6,281.
A Size 11 (133 m²) asymmetric suits the Cheoy Lee 48 fore-triangle. It starts at A$3,793.90, or A$4,914.80 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (12.9 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (13.3 m²). That makes our Maxi (12 m²) storm jib and Large (10.8 m²) trysail the right sizes.
Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
For a race programme, a Sydney to Hobart or a bluewater expedition, our sister loft Kraken Sails designs laminates, membrane sails and storm wardrobes for the hard end of sailing.
