From A$2,526.70 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$2,756.60 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$3,456.20. Every mainsail is cut to the Bombay Express 26 rig (P 9.75 m, E 5.12 m) with two reefs.
We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 8.44 m, J 3.08 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$1,147.30.
A Size 0 (31 m²) asymmetric suits the Bombay Express 26 fore-triangle. It starts at A$1,020.80, or A$1,545.50 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (3.6 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (8.7 m²). That makes our Extra Small (3 m²) storm jib and Medium (7.8 m²) trysail the right sizes.
Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
For a race programme, a Sydney to Hobart or a bluewater expedition, our sister loft Kraken Sails designs laminates, membrane sails and storm wardrobes for the hard end of sailing.
