From A$7,697.80 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$7,962.90 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$10,045.20. Every mainsail is cut to the Beneteau Sense 50 Classic rig (P 18.70 m, E 5.95 m) with two reefs.
We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 20.00 m, J 6.15 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$7,440.40.
A Size 12 (148 m²) asymmetric suits the Beneteau Sense 50 Classic fore-triangle. It starts at A$4,249.30, or A$5,449.40 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (20.0 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (19.5 m²). That makes our Maxi (12 m²) storm jib and Maxi (15.5 m²) trysail the right sizes.
Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
For a race programme, a Sydney to Hobart or a bluewater expedition, our sister loft Kraken Sails designs laminates, membrane sails and storm wardrobes for the hard end of sailing.
