From A$5,485.70 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$5,728.80 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$7,229.20. Every mainsail is cut to the Beneteau Oceanis 44 rig (P 16.36 m, E 5.43 m) with two reefs.
We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 17.43 m, J 5.65 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$5,311.90.
A Size 10 (118 m²) asymmetric suits the Beneteau Oceanis 44 fore-triangle. It starts at A$3,338.50, or A$4,390.10 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (15.2 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (15.6 m²). That makes our Maxi (12 m²) storm jib and Maxi (15.5 m²) trysail the right sizes.
Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
For a race programme, a Sydney to Hobart or a bluewater expedition, our sister loft Kraken Sails designs laminates, membrane sails and storm wardrobes for the hard end of sailing.
