From A$4,529.80 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$4,755.30 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$5,962. Every mainsail is cut to the Bavaria 42 CC rig (P 14.60 m, E 5.00 m) with two reefs.
We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 14.80 m, J 4.40 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$3,513.40.
A Size 6 (75 m²) asymmetric suits the Bavaria 42 CC fore-triangle. It starts at A$2,125.20, or A$2,964.50 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (11.0 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (12.8 m²). That makes our Extra Large (9.5 m²) storm jib and Large (10.8 m²) trysail the right sizes.
