Morris 36 sails: questions

How much is a new mainsail for a Morris 36?

From A$3,218.60 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$3,416.60 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$4,126.10. Every mainsail is cut to the Morris 36 rig (P 12.50 m, E 4.33 m) with two reefs.

What size genoa does a Morris 36 need?

We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 12.98 m, J 4.28 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$2,811.60.

What size spinnaker fits a Morris 36?

A Size 5 (64 m²) asymmetric suits the Morris 36 fore-triangle. It starts at A$2,069.10, or A$2,839.10 with a dousing sock.

What size storm jib and trysail fit a Morris 36?

The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (8.4 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (9.5 m²). That makes our Large (7.5 m²) storm jib and Medium (7.8 m²) trysail the right sizes.

How do I check my boat matches these measurements?

Measure I, J, P and E and compare them with the rig table. We confirm every measurement with you before the sail is cut.
