From A$11,788.70 in Dimension-Polyant Optimum Cruise with 3 leech battens and a full-length head batten, or A$12,117.60 with 4 full battens. C-Breeze, the long-life cloth, starts at A$15,229.50. Every mainsail is cut to the Lyons 16m Sloop rig (P 21.75 m, E 7.50 m) with two reefs.
We build 110% to 150% LP for the standard rig (I 21.47 m, J 6.22 m). Pick a smaller genoa for a windy home port and a larger one for light-air sailing. Furling genoas start at A$8,779.10.
A Size 13 (165 m²) asymmetric suits the Lyons 16m Sloop fore-triangle. It starts at A$4,704.70, or A$5,990.60 with a dousing sock.
The Offshore Special Regulations cap a storm jib at 5% of I squared (23.0 m² here) and a trysail at 17.5% of P × E (28.6 m²). That makes our Maxi (12 m²) storm jib and Maxi (15.5 m²) trysail the right sizes.
